Information notice on conducting electronic consultations with the public on the draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Instruction on the Conditions and Procedure for the Acquisition, Storage, Accounting, Use and Application of Devices for Firing Ammunition,...”

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “On amendments to the Instruction on the conditions and procedure for the acquisition, storage, accounting, use and use of devices for firing cartridges equipped with rubber or similar in their properties with metal shells deadly action, and the specified ammunition by police officers, persons dismissed from service in the police, as well as former police officers” (hereinafter referred to as the draft order), which is published February 14, 2024 in the subheading “Draft regulations” of the heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official web portal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The implementation of the draft order will apply to the following social groups of the population: police officers, persons dismissed from police service, as well as former police officers.

Stakeholders to whom the implementation of the draft order will apply: National Police of Ukraine.

Possible consequences of the implementation of the draft order for these social groups of the population and interested parties are to bring into compliance with the legislation of Ukraine certain norms of the Instruction on the conditions and procedure for the acquisition, storage, accounting, use and use of devices for firing cartridges equipped with rubber or similar in their properties metal shells non-lethal action, and specified cartridges by police officers, persons dismissed from service in the police, as well as former police officers.

The report on the results of electronic consultations with the public on the draft order will be published in the subsection “Electronic consultations with the public” of the “Public consultations” section of the official web portal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine within two weeks after the adoption of decisions based on the results of the discussion.
