The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “On Approval of Amendments to the Instruction on the Procedure for Passing Examinations for Obtaining the Right to Drive Vehicles and Issuing Driver's Licenses” (hereinafter — the draft order), published on 02 May 2023 of the year in the subheading “Draft regulations” of the heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.

The implementation of the draft order will apply to individuals who intend to obtain a driver's license for the right to drive a vehicle of the relevant category.

Stakeholders to whom the implementation of the draft order will apply: individuals passing theoretical, practical exams for obtaining the right to drive vehicles in territorial service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Internal Affairs) and authorized employees of the CSO of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in accordance with their position duties are assigned to the function of passing exams for obtaining the right to drive vehicles.

The implementation of the draft order will serve to minimize possible corruption risks in the adoption of theoretical and practical exams by officials of the Central Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, increase the level of their objectivity and impartiality, and help reduce the likelihood of violation of the requirements of the current legislation.
