The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine “On Approval of the Dimensions of Fees for Transportation and Storage of Temporarily Detained Vehicles in Special Areas or Parking Lots” (hereinafter — the draft order), which was made public published on April 11, 2023 in the subheading “Draft regulations” of the heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.

The implementation of the draft order will apply to the following social groups of the population: citizens (drivers, owners (co-owners) of a vehicle temporarily detained by employees of authorized units of the National Police) and business entities.

Stakeholders to whom the implementation of the draft order will apply: bodies (units) of the National Police of Ukraine, drivers, owners (co-owners) of a vehicle temporarily detained by employees of authorized units of the National Police and business entities (enterprises, institutions and organizations) that are conducting carry out activities related to the transportation of vehicles, and with which territorial (including interregional) body of the National Police concluded contracts in accordance with the established procedure.

Possible consequences of the implementation of the draft order for these social groups of the population and interested parties are:
- the issuance of the draft order will contribute to the establishment of a mechanism of interaction between business entities that carry out activities related to the transport of vehicles and police bodies, while ensuring accessibility and competition in the market of said services and to facilitate the implementation of the requirements of the Procedure in terms of transportation and storage of a vehicle temporarily detained by the police in cases defined by the legislation of Ukraine on a special site or parking lot;
- the purpose of issuing a draft order is to bring order No. 967/1218/869 into line with the legislation of Ukraine and the size of the plates - in accordance with the costs associated with the provision of services for transportation and storage of temporarily detained vehicles on special sites or parking lots.
