The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine “On Approval of Amendments to the Requirements for Institutions Carrying Out Training, Retraining and Retraining of Drivers of Vehicles, and the qualification requirements for specialists who carry out such training” (hereinafter referred to as the draft order), published on August 29, 2022 in the subheading “Projects regulatory acts” heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.

The implementation of the draft act will apply to the following social groups of the population and interested parties: drivers (candidates for drivers); institutions providing training, retraining and professional development of drivers Possible consequences of the implementation of the draft order for these social groups of the population and interested parties are:

• updating, unification of training sites for initial driving of vehicles, installation of modern requirements and approaches to equipment;
• improvement of the mechanism for training drivers (candidates for drivers), which will contribute to improving the level of road safety, reducing injuries, human and economic losses due to road accidents;
• creating the right conditions for the training of candidates for driving vehicles, their initial driving training and gaining more practical driving skills, improving their quality and, as a result, successful passing of practical exams.
