The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the draft Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Use of Unmanned Aircraft by Law Enforcement Agencies and Countering Their Illegal Use” (hereinafter referred to as the draft law), published on October 08, 2021 in the article section “Draft regulations” of the heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.

The implementation of the draft law will apply to citizens of Ukraine, foreigners, stateless persons.

The interested parties to whom the implementation of the draft law will apply are the operators of unmanned aircraft.

Possible consequences of the implementation of the draft law for these social groups of the population and interested parties are:

• satisfaction of the population with the level of security within the borders of the state, ensuring the protection of vital national interests from real and potential threats of a non-war nature;
• creation of prerequisites for modern regulation of the operation of the BPS and ensuring aviation safety.

The report on the results of electronic consultations with the public on the draft law will be published in the subsection “Electronic consultations with the public” of the “Public consultations” section of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine within two weeks after the decision is made based on the results of the discussion.
