The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine” (hereinafter — the draft resolution), which was published on March 10, 2021 in the subheading “Draft regulations” heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official web portal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.

The implementation of the draft resolution will apply to persons wishing to obtain a driver's license, open a relevant category or carry out state registration of a vehicle.

Possible consequences of the implementation of the draft resolution, in particular, are:

• implementation of organizational and methodological support for the introduction of distance training, retraining and professional development of drivers of vehicles by means of a unified information system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine using distance learning technologies;
• the ability to obtain a driver's license without unnecessary contacts using the means of a national postal operator or courier;
• bringing the cost of services into line with the cost, which will contribute to the efficient use of budget funds aimed at their provision.
