The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Rules of the Road” (hereinafter — the draft act), published on December 03, 2021 in the subheading “Draft regulations” of the heading “Normative The database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine” of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.

The implementation of the draft act will apply to the following interested parties: business entities, regardless of their form of ownership, carrying out work on the repair and maintenance of streets and roads; persons with disabilities.

Possible consequences of the implementation of the draft act for these interested parties are:

• the ability to perform work by road maintenance services and other enterprises on the street and road network related to increased safety for other road users, by using special light signaling devices of orange color;
• will contribute to improving road safety and reducing road traffic injuries.
