The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 795 of June 4, 2007 and No. 1098 of October 26, 2011" (hereinafter - the draft resolution), which was published on October 15 2020 in the subheading “Draft regulations” of the heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.

In the case of implementation of the draft resolution, its effect will apply to individuals and legal entities applying for paid services provided by units of the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (hereinafter — paid services).

Possible consequences of the implementation of the draft resolution are to bring the by-law normative act into compliance with the requirements of the legislation and improve the procedure for the provision of paid services, namely:

• generalization of the list of paid services, which eliminates the need for its constant adjustment in connection with the introduction of new types of such services;
• establishment of a unified approach to the calculation of the cost of paid services, taking into account the variable cost of expert hours;
• improving the procedure for providing paid services, in particular simplifying the process of checking the fact of payment for paid services.
