The requests of individuals for obtaining information on archival documents are submitted and considered in the manner prescribed by the Law of Ukraine “
On the Appeal of Citizens” (see section “For citizens”). 
 

The provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Access to Public Information” 
do not apply to requests for access to information in the fields of archival affairs and access to 
archival information of repressive bodies of the communist totalitarian regime of 1917-1991.”
