Protection of public order: the results of the work of the National Guard patrols over the past week
In the period from 12 to 18 July of this year, the personnel of the NGU were engaged in service in 21 regional centers of the state and the city of Kyiv, as well as in the 40th cities of regional and district subordination, 25 rural settlements. Also during the last week, the guards patrolled the territory of railway stations in Kharkiv and Dnipro. In
total, according to the results of the service for the past week, the National Guard patrols handed over 134 persons on suspicion of committing crimes, 1 thousand 534 persons for administrative offenses to employees of the National Police.
Detainees seized: 1 pistol, 1 traumatic action device, 12 rounds, 0.275 kg of narcotic substances. Property returned in the amount of UAH 34 thousand 296 (9 thousand 454 independently, 24 thousand 842 jointly with NPU).
During the summer health resort season, the soldiers of the National State University of Ukraine ensure the protection of public order in the cities of Ivano-Frankivsk, Odessa, Slavyansk, Svyatogorsk, Schurovo, Mariupol, Melikino, s. Hryada, s. Svityaz, Melnyky Shatskoi TG, m. Verkhovyna, s. Rudka.
Also, the soldiers of the National Guard took part in search activities in the territory of the village. Musiyivka of Poltava region and Dobrotvir village of Lviv region
This week, the Guards ensured law and order at 23 mass events:
during public actions near state authorities;
during the plenary session of the 9th convocation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (13-15 July);
near judicial institutions;
during sports events;
during festive events, etc.
Military National Guards took an active part in measures to counter the spread of COVID-19 on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, last week, they guarded the territories of 2 facilities for hospitalization of patients with coronavirus, observation (isolation) in Kiev and Odessa.
The patrol units of the NGU continue to ensure law and order in the area of operation of the Joint Forces in Severodonetsk and Rubezhny Luhansk regions and Mariupol, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka — in the Donetsk region.
According to the results of the service, 6 persons were transferred to the National Police on suspicion of committing criminal offenses, including 1 person on suspicion of involvement in the NSF, and 81 persons for administrative offenses. Detainees have seized narcotic substances.
Soldiers of the National Guard continue to carry out tasks for the implementation of state protection measures, ensuring the holding of large-scale mass events of a socio-political nature, the protection of local self-government bodies, as well as in preventive measures in places and areas with the most difficult criminogenic situation, including the fight against illegal amber production in Volyn, Rivne and Zhytomyr regions.
Since the beginning of the year, the Guard patrols have detained 3 thousand 160 people on suspicion of committing criminal offenses and 47 thousand 142 people for administrative offenses, of which 137 people for criminal offenses in the territory of the PLO.

Nikolaev, a man was detained for art. 309 CCU, in which psychotropic narcotic drugs with a total weight of 47 grams were detected during a surface examination. Lutsk, a citizen was detained under Art. 263 Criminal Code, in which during a surface inspection a pistol (PM) was found without permits. On July 15, the detention together with NPU employees of a citizen (according to Article 115 of the Criminal Code, 296 of the Criminal Code), who was around 19.50 on 15.07.2021 near the Iceberg store in the city, was resonant. Kamianets-Podilskyi of Khmelnytsky region detonated an RGD-5 grenade as a result of which 6 people received shrapnel wounds of varying severity, including a four-year-old child.
On July 16, a man was detained by the patrol of V.H. 3012 of the NGU, while serving with the OGP in the STP “Zatoka” of the Odessa region, a man was detained under Art. 263 CCU, in which, during a surface inspection, a traumatic pistol and 12 rounds to it were found without permits. Ivano-Frankivsk, after receiving a notice of illegal entry into the apartment and committing robbery with the possession of 13 jewelry by an unknown person, “on hot tracks”, while working out the adjacent territory according to the orientations, a citizen was found and detained under Art. 186 Criminal Code “Robbery”, in which stolen jewelry was discovered during a surface inspection.
