Patrol policemen from different cities of Ukraine are heavily guarding Uman
On August 28, on the territory of the Uman district police department of the GUNP in the Cherkasy region, a gathering of law enforcement officers took place, who will serve in the places of compact residence and pilgrimage of the Bratslav Hasids.
More than fifty police officers patrol Cherkassy, Kyiv, Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia and Odessa for two weeks will provide security for both local residents and foreign guests during the celebrations of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah.
In addition, representatives of the public formation of Uman region “Sturm” joined the preventive work of the city and district.
Deputy Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Cherkasy Oblast Serhiy Kovalenko and Deputy Head of Preventive Activities of the Uman Region Police Vasyl Kozinenko conducted the briefing and noted the observance of legality, safety rules and polite attitude towards citizens.
After the end of the briefing, the police went to the places of duty.
Cherkasy police are ready to ensure public order and safety of citizens in Uman, and currently law enforcement officers are serving in an enhanced mode.
