On the alienation of the property of the ex-MP in favor of the state and the progress of the special operation “Active”, the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine spoke on the live broadcast of the all-Ukrainian tele-marathon #Uaразом.
Yevgeny Yenin stressed that the police authorities use all the tools provided by the law. Separately, he thanked the people's deputies for supporting initiatives in this direction, because by joint efforts Ukrainians are forcing Russia to pay for the atrocities it commits in our country.
“We announced a real safari with Russian and Belarusian money. Our investigators have already seized a light helicopter and a business class jet worth UAH 1.1 billion. Since they could not afford for these lethal devices to simply gather dust somewhere, so they will work for our warriors and our common victory. However, our support to the Armed Forces does not end there. In addition to the plane and the helicopter, investigators seized trucks, passenger cars and other equipment totaling more than 200 million hryvnias, most of which have already been transferred to our military.
The First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs paid special attention to the special operation “Active”. During its implementation, law enforcement officers identify the assets of citizens of the Russian Federation and the Russian Federation, after which they transfer the identified funds for the needs of the Armed Forces.
“More than 7,000 residents who had economic relations with Russia or Belarus have already been placed under financial control of the operation. As a result, the withdrawal of funds in the amount of up to 200 billion hryvnias to the specified countries has been warned. Work in this direction continues,” Yevgeny Yenin added.
