In Kryvyi Rih, training meetings were held with dog trainers of the Central Operational and Territorial Association
During the training sessions, the cynologists-national guards repeated theoretical and practical material, worked out a special and general training course — overcoming the obstacle course, selecting objects, searching for weapons, ammunition and explosives, as well as detaining a conditional offender.
Each of the service dogs of the National Guard received a specialization after training at the National Guard Training Center and is involved in the performance of assigned tasks - serving to maintain the legal regime of martial law, at checkpoints and mobile checkpoints, search for missing people.
“A service dog is a full-fledged combat unit that helps servicemen perform service-combat tasks. Therefore, it is important to keep the skills of dogs at a high level, to conduct constant training, because this prevents crime while patrolling the streets of the city and the illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition,” said National Guard Oleksandr.
Dog trainers were able to discuss pressing issues and exchange experience gained in the conditions of martial law.
