Filming of a film about children, mistakes of adults and about juvenile police officers has started
In two cities of Ukraine, the shooting of a film about the sometimes difficult fate of children and the role of the youth police in their lives began. The first shooting days were held in Kharkiv and Odessa. The film is created on the initiative of the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anna Mishchenko.
“This is a film in which we want to tell not just about the work of juvenile police officers, but to show the problems that they have to solve in specific situations. We communicate with children and their parents who have agreed to speak frankly about the events that have changed their lives and who until now have been “closed” to society. Among the heroes will be children and adolescents who became victims of crimes and those who were on the other side of the law,” said Anna Mishchenko.
The film will raise the most painful topics, such as alcohol and drug addiction in children and adolescents, deadly hobbies, cruelty among children. Also in the film they will try to answer questions that are not usually asked in society. For example, why does a teenager create and administer a death squad? Why is a child willing to kill and rape? Why does what is the worst dream for an adult, a child perceives as routine?
According to the authors of the film, this tape is not only about the terrible fate of children, but also about the fatal mistakes of adults.
Also in the tape they will tell about the work of police officers who daily experience all tragedies with children. Police officers who try to prevent negative events and consequences, and sometimes the only ones who can save the life of the little ones.
The presentation of the tape is scheduled for March 2022.
