About the operation of entry-exit checkpoints in the area of the PLO
The work of all checkpoints on the demarcation line starts daily from 08:00 and lasts until 16:00. However, traffic in most humanitarian road corridors is blocked from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
Only the checkpoint “Stanytsya Luhanska” is open daily from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. Passenger traffic for the week, compared to the previous week, increased by 11%. Thus, 5,812 people passed through this road corridor to the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, and 5,847 people to the controlled territory.
Opposite the Novotroitske checkpoint, militants unblocked the movement on Monday and Friday. The demarcation line at this checkpoint was crossed by 339 people and 54 vehicles to the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region. At the same time, 273 people and 57 vehicles drove through the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
Trucks with humanitarian aid from the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and the International Committee of the Red Cross passed through the checkpoints “Novotroitske” and “Schastya”. Residents of the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine delivered 63.2 tons of cargo. Among which are items of medical equipment, clothing, household appliances and building materials.
Recall that the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 29, 2021 No. 1407 abolished the requirement for self-isolation for persons leaving the temporarily occupied territory through the checkpoint. So, when crossing the checkpoint on the demarcation line, citizens do not need to undergo mandatory self-isolation and install the mobile application “At Home”.
