In Zaporizhzhia, police rescued three wounded in Stepnogorsk from shelling
Russian troops shelled the residential sector of the city. Local law enforcement officers arrived for three wounded residents who needed medical assistance.
The victims were given emergency care and taken to the hospital.
On the territory of the Stepnogorsk community, as in other front-line settlements, police units of the Vasilyevsky RUP continue to serve. Their work and assistance does not stop under shelling.
The other day, the heavily damaged city of Stepnohirsk was again under heavy enemy artillery fire. Almost without stopping, the Russians were randomly shelling non-military facilities — civilian homes and farms.
Usually, by the sounds of “arrivals”, local residents already understand what and where they are flying from, and most importantly - how much time they have to save.
In the afternoon, the insidious shelling of the Russian military caught a 51-year-old man by surprise in the middle of the street. He just received humanitarian aid and returned home. An enemy shell hit the courtyard of a neighboring private house, its fragments severely injured it.
A local resident witnessed the incident, who reported it to law enforcement officers. Local POGs and police officers of Vasilyevsky RUP promptly provided the victim with emergency care and handed him over to military doctors for further hospitalization.
In the evening of the same day, emergency law enforcement assistance was needed for two more local residents, born in 1953 and 1979. Father and son rushed to save their cow, which was grazing in the garden, from shelling. It was at this time that an enemy shell hit their home area, resulting in both of them receiving shrapnel wounds.
The police crew of the Vasilyevsky district administration immediately arrived at the scene. The injured were provided with the necessary assistance and taken to the nearest medical facility.
