Yevhenii Yenin: Almost 500 thousand hryvnias were collected within the “Ultramarathon of Gratitude”
First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevhenii Yenin said that almost a quarter of the funds needed to purchase machinery and equipment for the State Emergency Service have been collected.
“The SNS together with partners organized the “Ultramarathon of Gratitude”. We collect 2 million hryvnias for equipment for our rescuers. Ukrainians have already collected almost 500 thousand hryvnias,” Yevhenii Yenin noted on his Facebook page.
He also reported that Ukrainian emergency and marathon participant Volodymyr Skovorodka crossed the border with Poland and finishes in Warsaw on August 24.
“The only case when the border with Poland was not crossed, but crossed! Our rescuer Vladimir Skovorodka has already covered 630 km in 10 days! Phenomenal,” Yevhenii Yenin noted.
