Guards of Odesa region took part in the Single Day of Child Safety
The Single Day of Child Safety was held on the basis of the educational space of the Charitable Foundation “Caritas Odessa UGCC”. Together with representatives of the security structures of the city of Izmail, the servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine of one of the military units of the Southern Operational and Territorial Union took part in the event. Most of the children who took part in the event were from the families of internally displaced persons who were evacuated to Izmail from areas of active fighting.
“Meeting the children is especially pleasant for us. There is a real sense of support in their eyes and actions. Ukrainian warriors for them are hope and protection. It is for the sake of the children's future: cloudless and carefree our fighters are fighting the enemy,” says National Guard Vitaliy.
The guards told the children how to travel safely and cross checkpoints, where to turn if someone photographs military or military facilities. They also paid attention to countering Russian propaganda, because it can be spread to younger Ukrainians. Children gladly tried on the equipment of the warrior, viewed the contents of the results of the fighters, were interested in combat stories from the service.
